There is a lot of turmoil in the United States right now. Immigrants, the queer community, people of color and others are facing some scary times. I wanted to do something to alleviate fear. As a heterosexual, cis gender white woman, I have privilege. I also realize that because of my privilege, people in my community may not know where I stand politically (I live in a red state).

I made these bracelets to show my community members they can let down their guard with me. They can ask me for help if they need it. The least I can do is help people feel safe around me.

I thought others might want to wear the bracelet too, so I made some extras.

Fabric is polyester. Removable closure is aluminum.
